Om Karin M Jameson
Karin M Jameson har arbetat med dans sedan tidigt 1980-tal, från slutet av 80-talet med fokus på undervisning inom utbildningar och i det professionella fältet i Sverige och internationellt.
Hon har en halvtidstjänst som lektor i dans på Stockholms Konstnärliga Högskola där hon främst jobbar med kandidatprogrammet i Dans, undervisar i samtidsdans, Kleinteknik, rörelseanalys med mera.
På den andra halvtiden frilansar Karin som pedagog och coach.
Klein Technique™
Klein Technique™ is a bodywork, in constant shift between practice and theory.
The alignment of the bones, the work of the deep muscles of postural support, is the focus area of the work, the practice.
To achieve a deeper understanding of the musculoskeletal system and its function, we work with the physical concepts of weight, spatiality and gravity and how they are linked to the mechanics of the body, as well as to the structure of the bones.
In class we get to concentrate on ourselves as anatomical beings on a deeper level to make room for this in our daily lives as dancers and movers.
In this workshop improvisation and set material will be used as a method to deepen and play with ones understanding of Klein Technique™.
